I’ve been around in the fitness space for over a decade as an in-person coach, online trainer, educator, student, weight lifter & trail runner.
Like so many other women, my relationship with exercise & my body is a long & complex one; enduring good times & bad times.
Weeks were I felt confident & ones where I wanted to shrink. Moments of challenge, despair, confusion & triumph.
Along the way I’ve grown & evolved.
I went from black and white thinking to living in the gray. From following fitspo online workouts to actually understanding the science behind progressive overload. From writing workouts for fun to implementing strength & hypertrophy strategies seamlessly into programs.
Today, I coach to empower women to shift the focus from size & weight to strength & feel.
I work alongside other women who have complex histories & relationships with their bodies & exercise but want to move forward & experience both differently.
I teach women how to explore their strength through simple & effective training methods.
I encourage women to take the sometimes scary but always rewarding step forward to see movement as more than a means to lose weight or look differently.
Here you can lift heavy, do cardio & embrace your rest days. You can train with intention while including movements you enjoy. You can embrace food as more than fuel; eat your favorite desserts, prioritize protein & veggies & enjoy some cocktails.
Here we work together to acknowledge the whole-picture of health & embrace how exercise & nutrition improve life now & will continue to do so 50 years from now.
